Call out basis. Very clear about the charge up front. Discussed loyalty program which was a better deal going forward and lowered the quote on the special order hot water tank. Was prepared for an up sale but this was not an up sale. Returned at the appointed time - 2 techs joined by a 3rd. Had the job done in an hour. Removed the old unit. Left the work space tidy and charged the quoted amount. Will call on them again, happily. High recommend this personable and professional team.

Everyone from A-1 Heating was amazing, right from my first panicked call at 6:30 in the morning when my furnace wouldn't start. I had a fantastic service technician come out and diagnose the issue and start our furnace again, followed by a quote for a new furnace and AC in the same day. Two days later Roberto came to install our furnace and was courteous and professional. We have since had our AC installed to be hooked up in the spring when it's warm! This company has been outstanding and I can't recommend them enough! They also message you with a picture and bio of the employee about to show up your house. It was a nice touch to know who to expect when you open the door.

Contacted this company regarding a new humidifier installation. I spoke with 3 employees, inside sales, technician and the installer. All were professional, accurate, provided customer orientated service at a competitive rate. I had spoke with 4 others plus the manufacturer of the unit so I felt I was informed on the subject. The installation was on time and done correctly with an analysis of the furnace heat exchanger. I am satisfied and would recommend A-1 Heating in St.Albert.Ab.

I can not say enough good things about Darlene who took my calls, answered questions, and helped keep me calm. Jason was polite, stayed at the task till done. Made 3 trips to sort out the issue and repair. Earned my trust he would find a solution. I highly recommend this company. A1 as busy as it was, when told we had no heat for 3 days, bent over backwards. As busy as they were, made me feel as if my son and I were a priority. Thank you for being there when it felt hopeless! A1 is highly recommended by this family!

I am very pleased with the service I've had over the past few years with A-1 heating and 1 hour plumbing. They always go above and beyond! My most recent experience was no different. I had the pleasure of meeting Sam Fyith. He was a lovely gentleman. I appreciated several things about his service. Firstly, he was timely, and I was late:(. Secondly, he was very eager to explain what he thought his diagnosis would involve and the costs that would incur. Sam went straight to work and had the job done in under 15 minutes. He gave me further instructions on how to prevent the issue from happening again. Everything was spotless after he had finished the job, which was unnecessary as it was a disaster beforehand. I truly felt that I was getting the best service I could have asked for and it was very cost effective. I hope I won't have to utilize their services too soon but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to do so. Super awesome company from the first phone call to the completed job! I need their business cards to hand out to every friend or family member I know!
